The 2025 Latin Series of Poker (LSOP) is scheduled to start on March 6th 2025 – March 10th 2025. The main event is going to be hosted at the Atlantic City Casino in Lima, Peru. This is actually going to be the first live poker event hosted by the LSOP and in order to make sure the tournament is a success there is a huge $500,000 GTD prize pool. The buy-in for the tournament is only $1650 and the tournament format is set-up to allow poker players the option to re-buy into the main event.
This event is the perfect warm-up for live poker players that want a bit of practise before the World Series of Poker. It isn't often that you get the chance to travel to Peru and the costs of staying in Lima really won't be that much. If you want to have a week of fun in the sun we recommend playing in the 2025 LSOP Main Event. The buy-in is reasonable, but if you want to cut your costs down to basically nothing you can try winning one of the satellites running at Americas Cardroom or True Poker.
During the month of May both poker rooms are running LSOP satellites. Each of the LSOP Main Event prize packages that are up for grabs is worth $3500 and includes your $1650 buy-in, 5-night hotel accommodations, transfer from airport to hotel and also up to $800 for roundtrip airfare from wherever you live. Americas Cardroom and True Poker are both American poker sites and that means US players will be able to compete in the 2025 LSOP satellites.
Americas Cardroom and True Poker both operate on the same poker network, so you only need to sign-up with one of the two poker rooms in order to play in the satellites. I've listed some of the LSOP Super Satellites that are scheduled this month below, as the Super Satellites have guaranteed prize packages up for grabs. There are other satellites and qualifying events running this month at both poker sites, so make sure you check out the full schedule.

- Friday May 11th at 7:30PM – $125 + $12 Super Satellites with 3 LSOP Prize Packages GTD
- Saturday May 12th at 7:30PM – $125 + $12 Super Satellites with 5 LSOP Prize Packages GTD
- Sunday May 27th at 7:30PM – $320 + $5 Super Satellites with 5 LSOP Prize Packages GTD
There are many more Super Satellites running throughout the month, but I won't list them all. Both poker rooms have listed a full schedule on their website that you can check out. Satellites are already running, so make sure you try winning your LSOP prize package before it's too late. There are also qualifiers running to the Super Satellites and the buy-ins are much smaller, which means that you can win a $3500 prize package for much less than the buy-in of the Super Satellites listed above.
