Pokerstars launches ‘Zoom Poker’

Zoom PokerIf you’ve played poker online in the past few years then you will have no doubt heard about, if not tried, ‘Rush Poker’ over at Full Tilt Poker. It has been hugely successful amongst impatient poker players worldwide and now Pokerstars have released their own long awaited version named ‘Zoom Poker’.

Zoom Poker plays a lot like Rush Poker in that once you fold a hand you are immediately taken to another table and dealt another hand. Players can play at up to four tables at once with Zoom Poker and they do also have the option of keeping the table open once folding to see how the hand plays out.

Zoom Poker is still in it’s early stages and Pokerstars have decided on releasing a beta version first to iron out any bugs in the system. At the moment there are only lower stakes and play money available but the high stakes games shouldn’t be far behind and I can see the Zoom Poker tables being crammed with thousands of people, playing at micro to high stakes within a month or two.
